Morrow Mountain State Park is situated along Lake Tillery and the Pee Dee River in the Uwharrie Mountain region. Within the park, visitors can enjoy a museum, as well as several historic establishments including a doctor's office, an infirmary, a greenhouse and the Kron House - although reconstructed, these sites appear similar to their 1870s structure. Picnic facilities can also be found on the park grounds with tables, grills and drinking water. Camping, swimming, fishing and many other recreational opportunities are available.
